Jim Hellemn’s underwater imagery has been a part of numerous film projects, including Nova, National Geographic and the American Museum of Natural History. He has been the principal underwater cinematographer and director of underwater photography for several documentary projects for Working Pictures and Force Blue, a non-profit whose mission is to help combat diving veterans while helping scientists help save the planet. Jim’s underwater cinematography appears in Edward Butynsky’s 2019 documentary “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch”. Working with resorts in the dive travel industry, Jim also produces underwater video used in social media advertising.
